Abstract:
A compressor (1) is provided with a rotor (21) for imparting rotational power to a compressor section (5), and the rotor (21) is provided with a rotor core (31) and an upper rotor end plate (33). The rotor core (31) has formed therein a plurality of through-holes (36-1 to 36-6) through which a refrigerant flows. The upper rotor end plate (33) covers the upper rotor end surface (33) of the rotor core (31), the upper rotor end surface (33) having formed thereat one end of each of the plurality of through-holes (36-1 to 36-6). The upper rotor end plate (33) has formed therein a plurality of upper openings (45-1 to 45-6) which connect the plurality of through-holes (36-1 to 36-6) to an inner space (7) in a container of the compressor. The plurality of upper openings (45-1 to 45-6) expose a plurality of upper inner peripheral-side adjacent regions (43-1 to 43-6) of the upper rotor end surface (33) to the inner space (7), the plurality of upper inner peripheral-side adjacent regions (43-1 to 43-6) being adjacent to the plurality of through-holes (36-1 to 36-6) and being located on the inner peripheral side which is closer to a rotating shaft than the plurality of through-holes (36-1 to 36-6).
