Abstract:

A compressor (10) is provided with a motor (30), a lower balance weight (133a), and partitions (133b, 133s). The motor (30) has a rotor (132) having a first end surface (E1) and a second end surface (E2). The balance weight (133a) is provided to the first end surface (E1) or the second end surface (E2). The partitions (133b, 133s) are provided to the first end surface (E1) or the second end surface (E2). The rotor (132) has formed therein a through-hole (132p) extending from the first end surface (E1) to the second end surface (E2). A front region (Q1) which is located in front of the front edge of the balance weight (133a) in the rotational direction of the rotor (132) and/or a rear region (Q2) which is located behind the rear edge of the balance weight (133a) in the rotational direction of the rotor (132) is separated from the through-hole (132p) by the partitions (133b, 133s).
