Abstract:
This compressor is provided with a motor (40) in which a stator (44) is disposed around the axis of a rotor (41), a rotating shaft (31) fixed to the rotor, bearings (71, 72) supporting the rotating shaft, an impeller (21) which is coupled to the rotating shaft to compress a fluid, and a casing (20) accommodating the motor (20), wherein the stator includes a coil (49, 50) encircling the axis of the rotor in an annular shape, and a stator core (45, 46, 47, 48) having magnetic poles which face an outer circumferential surface of the rotor across a gap in the radial direction of the rotor. This configuration enables the rotating shaft to be shortened.
