Abstract:
This compressor comprises a sealed container, an electric motor mechanism having a stator and a rotor, a compression mechanism which compresses a refrigerant, a discharge pipe which discharges the refrigerant, a drive shaft fixed to the rotor, and an oil separator which is fixed to the drive shaft, disposed in a space between the rotor and the discharge pipe, and separates the refrigerant and a refrigerating machine oil via rotating together with the drive shaft, wherein: the oil separator has an annular flat part attached to the drive shaft, and a plurality of blades provided so as to spread radially from an outer edge of the flat part; each of the plurality of blades includes a front part formed in a plate shape and having a first side serving as an edge on a forward advancing side in a rotation direction of the oil separator, a rear part formed in a plate shape and having a second side serving as an edge on the side opposite from the rotation direction, and a bent part, which is a portion between the front part and the rear part in the rotation direction and is formed in a state where blade plates are bent; and the second side is formed so as to be positioned more on the arrangement side of the rotor than the first side in the axial direction of the drive shaft.
