A computation device comprises: an acquisition unit for acquiring a standard image obtained through imaging by a first imaging unit and a reference image obtained through imaging by a second imaging unit; a first-time search unit for determining a calculation subject pixel included in the standard image, said pixel being one for which parallax is to be calculated, and calculating a first-time parallax that is a parallax of the calculation subject pixel with reference to the reference image; an isolation assessment unit for judging, on the basis of comparison of the first-time parallax of the calculation subject pixel and a parallax in the peripheral pixels of the calculation subject pixel, whether or not the calculation subject pixel is a divergent pixel that satisfies an isolation condition of being isolated from the peripheral pixels; a search range setting unit for setting a re-search range that is another search range in the reference image focused on the divergent pixel; and a re-search unit for searching the re-search range in the reference image that has been set by the search range setting unit to thereby calculate a re-search parallax that is a parallax of the divergent pixel.
