Abstract:
A computed tomography apparatus according to various embodiments may comprise: a gantry including a first rotary device and a second rotary device which have an annular shape, share a single rotation shaft, and are independently rotatable; a plurality of light sources which are arranged at constant intervals in the first rotary device and configured to emit X-rays toward an object; a detection device which is disposed in the second rotary device and configured to detect X-rays that pass through the object; and one or more processors. The one or more processors according to various embodiments may be configured to: rotate the first rotary device in a first rotation direction by a rotation angle determined on the basis of the number of the plurality of light sources; make at least one of the plurality of light sources emit X-rays toward the object while the first rotary device is rotating in the first rotation direction; make the detection device detect X-rays that pass through the object; and rotate the first rotary device by the determined rotation angle in a second direction which is the reverse direction of the first rotation direction.
