Abstract:
Provided is a computer program according to an embodiment of the present invention for causing a computer to function as an estimation device for a vehicle speed. The computer program causes the computer to function as a data processing unit which performs: an extraction process for extracting a speed transition section including a plurality of target points where statistic speeds are gradually decreased from a high-speed threshold value or more to a low-speed threshold value or less; a calculation process for calculating a propagation speed of a traffic congestion on the basis of a first speed sequence having, as an element, the statistic speeds at the plurality of target points included in the speed transition section; and an estimation process for estimating a vehicle speed in a predetermined section including the speed transition section on the basis of the propagation speed.
