Abstract:
[Problem] To prevent display delay of a stroke image caused by processing delays in a computer, without providing an overlay engine in a timing controller. [Solution] A computer 1 includes: a host processor 12 that generates a stroke image which represents a stroke represented by a series of coordinate data each indicating the position of a pen in a touch plane, and generates a video signal VS1 indicating the generated stroke image; a timing controller 30 that controls the potentials of a plurality of gate lines GL provided to a display panel 14, on the basis of a video signal VS2; and a MCU 40 that generates, in tandem with the host processor 12, a temporary stroke image SI which represents the same stroke as the stroke image. The temporary stroke image is overlayed on the video signal VS2 before the video signal VS2 is supplied to the timing controller 30.
