Abstract:

According to embodiments, a computing device and an operation method therefor are disclosed. The disclosed method for operating a computing system comprising a host system and a virtual machine system comprises the steps of: receiving, by a virtual machine system, an execution request of a virtual machine application; scheduling, by a CPU scheduler of the virtual machine system, to first execute the virtual machine application for which execution has been requested, and providing the scheduling result to a kernel, and transmitting, to a CPU scheduler of a host system, a resource preemption permission confirmation request for the virtual machine application; and determining, by the CPU scheduler of the host system, a resource preemption permission for the virtual machine application by referring to a host scheduling list, and providing information about the determined resource preemption permission to the CPU scheduler of the virtual machine system.
