Description:
CONCEALED RESERVOIR CONTROL PANEL

Subject of the Invention

The subject of the invention relates to a novel control panel developed for use in the concealed reservoirs. State of the Art

The flushing systems, which comprise a reservoir for the storage of the flushing water, are positioned in the toilet rooms for flushing the areas such as toilet bowl and closet and the flow of the water within the reservoir to the flushing area is provided with the help of the buttons on the control panels/consoles. The fact that there is a great number of components present on the control panels of the concealed reservoirs that are used in the bathrooms/toilet rooms according to the state of the art leads to the difficulty in mounting and causes a high cost. It has been possible within the scope of the invention to obtain a control panel having smaller dimensions. The procedure of intervening with the control panels of the state of the art is also performed with difficulty as a result of the presence of a great number of parts.

The parts of the control panel according to the state of the art can be seen in Figure 2. The control panel according to the state of the art comprises at least one body (1 ), the buttons enabling the flow of different volumes of water to be controlled, i.e. the 3 I button (3) according to the state of the art for enabling the flow of 3 I of water to be triggered and the 6 I button (4) according to the state of the art for enabling the flow of 6 I of water to be triggered, the spring (5) according to the state of the art for enabling the return of the button once said button has been pressed, the stud piece (8) according to the state of the art, the piece (6) for fixing the stud piece (8) to the connection frame (10), the press rod (9) according to the state of the art for enabling the movement to be transferred to the reservoir when the buttons that trigger the flow of 3 I and 6 I of water are pressed, the piece (7) for fixing the press rod to the connection frame, the connection frame (10), and the gaskets (2), which are fitted on the 3 I button (3) according to the state of the art and the 6 I button (4) according to the state of the art and which serve the function of tolerating the defects on the wall surface or on the surface where the panel is to be mounted. The gaskets (2), which are fitted on the 3 I button (3) according to the state of the art and the 6 I button (4) according to the state of the art, remain between the buttons and the body to prevent the sound that could result from the impact during the return of the buttons by the effect of the spring (5) according to the state of the art and they serve the function of stopping. The other gasket (2) present on the control panel serves the function of tolerating the defects on the wall surface or on the surface where the panel is to be mounted. With the control panel developed within the scope of the invention, the number of parts, i.e. components, has been reduced, thereby both reducing the cost and providing ease in mounting. Moreover, the possibility for a more robust mounting has been obtained and the control panel has been brought into a state that is easier to intervene as the number of components has been reduced. Further, it has been possible to obtain a control panel with smaller dimensions.

Object of the Invention

The object of the invention is to obtain a control panel, which is of lower cost and which is easier to intervene.

Detailed Description of the Invention The subject of the invention relates to a novel control panel developed for use in the concealed reservoirs.

The subject of the invention relates to a concealed reservoir control panel (1 1 ) for controlling the flow of water from at least one reservoir, in which the water to be flushed to a surface in order to clean said surface is stored, to said surface to be cleaned, said concealed reservoir control panel comprising at least one panel body (12) and at least one water button (18), which is positioned on said panel body (12) and which enables to trigger the flow of the water within the reservoir to the area to be flushed. The control panel (1 1 ) according to the invention can be seen in Figure 1 . The parts of the control panel (1 1 ) according to the invention can be seen in Figure 5.

The control panel (1 1 ) according to the invention comprises at least one panel body (12) on which the parts of the panel are to be positioned, at least one water button (18) for triggering the flow of water from the interior of the reservoir to the area to be flushed and at least one lock and stop piece (19), which enables the water button (18) to be positioned on the panel body (12).

According to the preferred embodiment of the invention, the control panel (1 1 ) comprises at least one press rod (15), which is positioned in the rear section of said water button (18) and which enables the transfer of the motion formed as a result of the water button (18) being triggered by the user. At least one lock piece (16) is used in order to fix said press rods (15) on the panel body (12). The press rods (15) are positioned into the lock piece slots (16a) present on the lock piece (16) and the press rod mounting slots (20) present on the panel body (12). The press rod (15) is positioned in the rear section of the water button (18) and enables the motion to be transferred to the concealed reservoir when the water button (18) is pressed by the user. Owing to the lock piece (16), the press rods (15) are prevented from rotating around themselves. According to the preferred embodiment of the invention, the return of the water buttons (18) to their original positions upon the removal of the pressure imparted by the user on said water buttons (18) is provided by means of at least one spring (17), which is positioned on the panel body (12) in such a way to be able to act upon said water buttons (18).

According to the preferred embodiment of the invention, said panel body (12) is fixed to the mounting place via at least one stud piece (13). The fixing of the stud piece (13) to the panel body (12) is achieved by means of at least one fixing member (14). The stud piece (13) is used in fixing the panel body (12) to the wall and the concealed reservoir. The stud piece (13) is positioned in the stud piece slots (21 ) on the panel body (12).

All of said parts of the panel are assembled on the panel body (12) and the panel body (12) is mounted to the wall surface and the concealed reservoir. The lock piece (16) is fixed on the panel body (12) by way of engaging the lock piece fixing sections (30) present on said lock piece with the mounting rods (22). The lock piece fixing tabs (29) present on the lock piece (16) fit into the lock piece fixing slots (23) present on the panel body (12). The springs (17) are fixed to the spring fixing points (25) on the panel body (12) and they enable the water buttons (18), which are used for triggering the flow of water from the reservoir to the area to be flushed, to return to their original positions once the pressure on the same has been removed following the triggering of the same by the user.

The lock and stop piece (19) serves the function of stopping during the return of the water button (18) to its original position under the influence of the spring (17) once the water button (18) has been pressed and then the pressure on the same has been removed. Said lock and stop piece (19) also enables said water button (18) to be fixed on the panel body (12). The lock and stop piece (19) fits in the lock and stop piece slots (24) and moves in the forward and backward directions within said slots. The lock and stop piece (19) comprises thereon the lock and stop piece fixing regions (26), in which the fixing protrusions (27) positioned on the water button (18) are to be positioned. Upon said fixing protrusions (27) fitting in the lock and stop piece fixing regions (26), the lock and stop piece (19) is fixed on the water button (18) in a way to contact the upper retaining rod (28).

According to an alternative embodiment of the invention, two water buttons (18), one bigger and one smaller, are positioned on the panel body (12) in order to enable the flow of different volumes of water. The bigger button is used for triggering the flow of 6 I of water for example, while the smaller button is used for triggering the flow of 3 I of water for example. The water button (18) to be positioned on the panel body (12) is to be present in a quantity of at least one and the number and dimensions of the same are not to be limited to those mentioned herein.

It is sufficient to open said lock and stop piece (19) in order to access the interior parts of the control panel developed within the scope of the invention and the concealed reservoir. In this way, a control panel that is easier to intervene is obtained.
