Abstract:
The present invention is a concealed type sprinkler (A) that is aimed to be used in the places such as hospitals, shopping malls, parking lots, meeting and show areas and offices against the risk of fire, characterized in comprising a hollow lower body (5) and a hollow upper body (8) which are interlocked, a lower body base (6) that is provided at the lower section of said lower body (5) and is vertical to said lower body (5), a cap (3) that is connected to said lower body base (6) and is seen from the outside when mounted to a wall and/or ceiling, at least one lower body gap (7) provided on said lower body base (6), at least one glass holding housing (4) that is positioned opposite said lower body gap (7) and provided at the inner surface (3.1) of the cap (3), and a glass member (2) that is positioned in said glass holding housing (4) and interconnects said lower body (5) and said cap (3) by passing through said lower body gap (7).

Claims:
CLAIMS

1. A concealed type sprinkler (A) that is aimed to be used in the places such as hospitals, shopping malls, parking lots, meeting and show areas and offices against the risk of fire, characterized in comprising;

- a hollow lower body (5) and a hollow upper body (8) which are interlocked,

- a lower body base (6) that is provided at the lower section of said lower body (5) and is vertical to said lower body (5),

- a cap (3) that is connected to said lower body base (6) and is seen from the outside when mounted to a wall and/or ceiling,

- at least one lower body gap (7) provided on said lower body base (6),

- at least one glass holding housing (4) that is positioned opposite said lower body gap (7) and provided at the inner surface (3.1 ) of the cap (3),

- a glass member (2) that is positioned in said glass holding housing (4) and interconnects said lower body (5) and said cap (3) by passing through said lower body gap (7),

- a label (1 ) at the outer surface (3.2) of said cap (3) for protection and information purposes.

2. A concealed type sprinkler (A) according to Claim 1 , characterized in that plastic can be used as raw material as soldering is not performed during connecting process.

Description:
CONCEALED TYPE SPRINKLER

TECHNICAL FIELD

The present invention is related to concealed type sprinkler that is aimed to be used in the places such as hospitals, shopping malls, parking lots, meeting and show areas and offices against the risk of fire.

The present invention is especially related to concealed type sprinkler comprising a cap and a body, which are provided in the sprinkler that will be used in the systems for fire extinction/control, and are attached without soldering.

THE STATE OF ART

Today, several central systems are used for fire extinction/control in the places such as hospitals, shopping malls, parking lots, meeting and show areas and offices against the risk of fire. One of said systems is sprinkler that is also known as sprinkling member. Said sprinkler is an apparatus that is dislocated due to increase in temperature in case of a fire, and enables pressure water to be released to the environment. The sprinkler provided in the present applications is dislocated from the mounting area due to increase in the temperature during firing and falls onto the ground and thus, breaking and tearing are experienced in the connecting section due to hitting. Said breaking and tearing are experienced, because said connection is achieved by soldering. The cap and body which are attached by soldering, are separated so as not to be attached again when the sprinkler falls onto the ground. Therefore, repeated use of said sprinkler is prevented.

On the other hand, the production of sprinkler in the present applications is challenging in terms of costs and labor. The production of said sprinkler requires high level of labor force, high costs and longer processes. Said product passing through a challenging production process decreases the profit of producer.

As the sprinkler is subjected to soldering process in the state of art, durability and functioning of said sprinkler can only be tested at the end of production process. The products that fail in the tests performed, are scrapped.

Improvements are needed in the related technical field in order to eliminate the abovementioned drawbacks and disadvantages. OBJECTS OF THE INVENTION

The present invention is related to concealed type sprinkler fulfilling the abovementioned requirements, eliminating the disadvantages and offering additional advantages. The primary object of the present invention is to eliminate the problem of breaking/tearing of the cap and body from the soldering area, which is experienced frequently in the state of art. In the embodiment mentioned in the present invention, cap and body are interconnected by means of glass without soldering, said breaking/tearing problems are prevented and the product can be used repeatedly.

Another object of the present invention is to provide concealed type sprinkler, in which durability and functioning of the cap are tested during the production process. That the test and production processes are performed in a synchronous manner provides advantages in terms of time, costs and labor force. In the present applications, durability test that can only be performed after the production causes the inadequate products to be scrapped. This drawback is prevented thanks to the present invention.

Another object of the present invention is to provide a concealed type sprinkler obtained in a production process which requires lower costs and shorter time. The use of glass instead of soldering in the cap connection during production provides production processes requiring lower costs and shorter time.

Thanks to the present invention, a product that is easy-to-mount is obtained. After said concealed type sprinkler falls onto the ground from a higher point, they can easily be mounted and used repeatedly.

In addition, the present invention enables said concealed type sprinkler to be made of different raw materials. In the state of art, while said embodiments can only be made of soldered materials, the lack of soldered section in the embodiment according to the present invention enables different raw materials to be used in the production of said embodiment.

The structural and characteristic features and all the advantages of the present invention will be more clearly understood thanks to the figures below and the detailed description written with reference to those figures. Therefore, the evaluation needs to be done by taking said figures and the detailed description into consideration. In order to achieve the abovementioned objects, the present invention is a concealed type sprinkler (A) that is aimed to be used in the places such as hospitals, shopping malls, parking lots, meeting and show areas and offices against the risk of fire, characterized in comprising;

a hollow lower body (5) and a hollow upper body (8) which are interlocked, a lower body base (6) that is provided at the lower section of said lower body (5) and is vertical to said lower body (5),

a cap (3) that is connected to said lower body base (6) and is seen from the outside when mounted to a wall and/or ceiling,

at least one lower body gap (7) provided on said lower body base (6), at least one glass holding housing (4) that is positioned opposite said lower body gap (7) and provided at the inner surface (3.1 ) of the cap (3), a glass member (2) that is positioned in said glass holding housing (4) and interconnects said lower body (5) and said cap (3) by passing through said lower body gap (7),

a label (1 ) at the outer surface (3.2) of said cap (3) for protection and information purposes.

In order for the present invention to achieve the objects, the figures appended are as follows. Figure 1 is a three-dimensional view of the concealed type sprinkler.

Figure 2 is a three-dimensional demounted view of the concealed type sprinkler.

In this detailed description, the preferred embodiments of concealed type sprinkler (A) according to the present invention are described only for the subject to be understood better.

Said concealed type sprinkler (A) is central fire extinction member that functions as temperature sensing member in the places such as hospitals, shopping malls, parking lots, meeting and show areas and offices against the risk of fire. When the temperature reaches to a certain level, said concealed type sprinkler (A) is dislocated and sprinkles the pressure water to the fire area. In order to achieve an aesthetic appearance, they are hidden by being mounted to wall and/or ceiling.

The demounted view of concealed type sprinkler (A) according to the present invention is given in Figure 1 . Basically, said concealed type sprinkler (A) comprises a hollow lower body (5) and a hollow upper body (8) which are interlocked, and a cap (3) interconnected with said lower body by means of glass member (2). There are at least two glass holding housings (4) at the inner surface (3.1 ) of said cap (3). Said cap (3) is connected to said lower body (5) thanks to the glass member (2) attached to said glass holding housing (4).

A lower body base (6) is provided at the lower section of said lower body (5) and is vertical to said lower body (5). Lower body gap (7) is provided at said lower body base (6) so as to face the glass holding housing (4) at the inner surface (3.1 ) of cap. Glass member (2) that is positioned in said glass holding housing (4) at the inner surface (3.1 ) of cap, interconnects said lower body (5) and said cap (3) by passing through said lower body gap (7). Said lower body (5) and said upper body (8) are interconnected in an interlocking manner. The transparent label (1 ) attached to the outer surface (3.2) of said cap (3) protects said concealed type sprinkler (A) against damages and scratches and also functions as an area where information for the user can be written. Therefore, it provides protection against dye, plaster and similar dirt/chemicals when the building is in construction or restoration process. Thanks to the label, the glass that is provided within said concealed type sprinkler (A) and sensitive to changes in temperature, is prevented from being damaged. Concealed type sprinkler (A) according to the present invention is hidden by placing all the mounted members into a gap on the wall and/or ceiling. Figure 2 is a three-dimensional demounted view of said concealed type sprinkler (A). The sprinkler produced in the state of art comprises soldered members and thus, they can only be made of certain materials. As the concealed type sprinkler (A) according to the present invention does not comprise soldered members, it can be made of plastic. In this regard, concealed type sprinkler (A) may be obtained from several raw materials without depending on only certain raw materials.
