Abstract:
This invention provides a concrete having excellent exploding resistance, characterized by comprising a fiber as one constituent material, the concrete having a compressive strength of 50 N/mm2 or above, a bending strength of 6 N/mm2 or above, and a ratio of bending strength to compressive strength of 15 or below. Upon explosion of an explosive material near a structure, a part of the structure is separated by explosion energy. In general, the separation of the structure in its side remote from the exploded side is significant, leading to such a high danger that the concrete is broken, and persons within the structure are injured. The concrete of the present invention can advantageously realize a small separation volume and thus can be utilized in various structures as concrete for lifesaving and collapse prevention.
