Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a condensate discharge device and a condensate discharge method which have excellent adaptability against increase and decrease of a drain discharge amount while preventing clogging of an orifice hole. [Solution] This condensate discharge device has orifice units each having an orifice and a pressure reducing chamber provided on the downstream side of the orifice, and is formed by arranging the orifice units in series in multi stages. Each orifice unit 10U is constituted by: an orifice plate 12P which has an orifice hole 11h with a diameter of at least 1 mm and is formed in a thin plate shape; and a pressure reducing plate 14P which has the same thickness as the orifice plate 12P and has a pressure-reducing chamber 14S formed therein, wherein the orifice holes 11h adjacent to each other in the axial direction are formed by being arranged to be radially deviated from each other.
