Abstract:
The present invention provides a condensed ring compound which has excellent electron-transporting properties, has excellent solubility in solvents, and can be used as an organic n-type semiconductor. This condensed ring compound is represented by formula (1). [One of R11 and R12 represents a group represented by formula (2); Ar10-Ar12 independently represent an aromatic hydrocarbon group or a heterocyclic ring group; X11 and X12 independently represent an oxygen atom, a sulfur atom or a group represented by =C(A)2; one of R13 and R14 represents an alkyl group, wherein R13 and R14 may be bound to each other to form an aromatic carbon ring or a heterocyclic ring; Ar21 represents an aromatic hydrocarbon group or a heterocyclic ring group; one of R21 and R22 represents a fluorine atom, an alkyl group, a fluoroalkyl group, an alkoxy group or a fluoroalkoxy group; and X21 and X22 independently represent an oxygen atom, a sulfur atom or a group represented by =C(A)2.]
