Abstract:
Intended is to improve the reliability of a condenser by suppressing the formations
of burrs or projections at joint portions between aluminum wire round rods and
external terminals in lead wires to be used with the condenser. Metal caps of
a higher melting point than that of aluminum are fitted on the end portions of the
aluminum line round rods, and the metal caps are heated to join the aluminum line
round rods and the metal caps. After this, the external terminals and the metal
caps are welded. Moreover, the metal caps are constituted to have such curved
faces that the outer circumferences become smaller from the openings toward
the end portions on the opposite sides, and to have stepped portions in the openings
so that the sealing degree is raised when the lead wires are inserted into the holes
of sealing members.
