Abstract:

This condenser (30) is provided with the following: a set of heat-transfer tubes (32); a main body (35) that covers said heat-transfer tubes; an intermediate body (41) that forms a primary steam passage (42) for guiding exhaust steam (ES) from a steam turbine (3) to the set of heat-transfer tubes in the main body; and a bypass-steam-receiving section (51) that receives bypass steam (BS), i.e. steam that has bypassed the steam turbine, and guides said bypass steam to the set of heat-transfer tubes in the main body. Said bypass-steam-receiving section (51) is located outside the primary steam passage (42), and an opening in the main body (35) that connects to the bypass-steam-receiving section (51) is positioned such that the bypass steam (BS), mainly, flows into the set of heat-transfer tubes (32) from a different region (34) from an inflow region (33) where the exhaust steam (ES), mainly, flows into the set of heat-transfer tubes via the primary steam passage.
