Abstract:
A condenser (30) is provided with a plurality of heat transfer pipe groups (41), a main body (35), and an intermediate body (31). The intermediate body (31) has: an intermediate body inlet (32) that opens horizontally from the interior and through which steam S is introduced; and an intermediate body outlet (33) that opens downwardly from the interior and through which the steam S is discharged. The main body (35) has a main body inlet (38), which opens upwardly from the interior and is connected to the intermediate body outlet (33). The plurality of heat transfer pipe groups (41) are arranged side by side within the main body (35) below the lower end (32b) of the intermediate body inlet (32).
