Abstract:
This condenser is provided with: a housing (11) which has a hollow shape and in which a vapor inlet port (21) and a condensate outlet port (22) are provided; inlet water chambers (12, 13) and outlet water chambers (14, 15) provided at each end portion of the housing (11); multiple heat transfer pipes (31, 32) which coupled the inlet water chambers (12, 13) to the outlet water chambers (14, 15) inside the housing (11) and through which cooling water flows; water intake pipes (43, 44) and water discharge pipes (47, 48) which are coupled respectively to the inlet water chambers (12, 13) and the outlet water chambers (14, 15) by way of expansion joints (41, 42, 45, 46); attenuating members (61, 62, 63, 64) which attenuate displacements of the inlet water chambers (12, 13) and the outlet water chambers (14, 15); and restoring members (65, 66, 67, 68) which restore the positions of the inlet water chambers (12, 13) and the outlet water chambers (14, 15). In this way, earthquake resistance is improved by suppressing relative displacements between the water chambers and the pipes.
