Abstract:
A condensing combustion apparatus of the present invention comprises: an upward combustion type burner; a sensible-heat exchange unit absorbing combustion sensible-heat generated in the burner; and a latent-heat exchange unit absorbing latent heat of water vapor contained in a combustion gas having passed through the sensible-heat exchange unit, wherein the sensible-heat exchange unit and the latent-heat exchange unit have the same lateral width and are configured with a fin-tube type heat exchanger with a common structure, and the latent-heat exchange unit has: a flow passage formed on one side thereof through which the combustion gas having passed through the sensible-heat exchange unit flows upward; a flow passage formed in the middle portion thereof through which the combustion gas having passed through the one side of the latent-heat exchange unit flows in a downward direction that agrees with the direction in which condensed water drops; and a flow passage formed on an opposite side thereof through which the combustion gas having passed through the middle portion of the latent-heat exchange unit flows upward and discharges.
