Abstract:
Embodiments of the present application provide a conditional handover method, a device, and a system, relating to the field of communications. The method comprises: receiving a first radio resource control (RRC) reconfiguration message, the first RRC reconfiguration message comprising RRC configurations and CHO execution conditions of multiple candidate target base stations, the multiple candidate target base stations comprising base stations at distances of 1 to N hops from the service base station, respectively, 1 < N ≤ T, T being the number of hops by which the farthest base station is away from the service base station on a moving path, and both N and T being positive integers; in a process of moving along the moving path, determining a target base station according to the first RRC reconfiguration message, the moving path being a set path to move along, and the target base station being one of the multiple candidate target base stations; and handing over to the target base station. The problem of data stream disconnection caused by the inability of a mobile terminal to perform handover in time to a base station can be resolved, thereby ensuring that the mobile terminal can continuously obtain service from base stations while moving.
