Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide an electric double layer capacitor having an excellent cycling property, a rechargeable lithium ion battery and a lithium-ion capacitor, and an electrode material with which it is possible to obtain the same, and a composite used for the electrode material. This composite is that which is obtained by compositing 0.5-5 parts by mass of a conductive polymer having a nitrogen atom with 100 parts by mass of a porous carbon material, wherein in the spectrum of an X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy, the ratio of the peak area derived from the carbon atoms relative to the peak area derived from nitrogen atoms (nitrogen/carbon) is 0.005-0.05.
