Abstract:
Provided are a conductive film with which it is possible to increase the picture quality of a display image as well as reduce the resistance of a detection part and a touch panel provided with this conductive film. The conductive film is installed on the display unit of a display device. A transparent substrate, a detection part provided on at least one surface of the transparent substrate and equipped with a mesh pattern constituted with thin metal wire, and a peripheral wiring part electrically connected to the detection part are had. When it is assumed that an area of the transparent substrate where the detection part is provided is a first area and areas other than the first area are a second area, a boundary area that includes a border line of the first area and the second area exists over the whole of the border line, and there is a line width variation area in at least a portion of the whole of the border line of the boundary areas. In the width variation area, the width of thin metal wire of the detection part is larger than a reference width of thin metal wire at the center of the first area and continuously increases further from the first area toward the second area.
