Abstract:
Disclosed are: a method for manufacturing a novel conductive material that functions as an active material and conducts electrons; a conductive material; and a battery. The conductive material is obtained by subjecting sintered Li4Ti5O12 to RF radiation, thereby changing the chemical state of the titanium and making the material conductive. For example, a sintered Li4Ti5O12 target is subjected to RF magnetron sputtering in a nitrogen-containing atmosphere, and the target after sputtering is the disclosed conductive material.
