Abstract:
This conductive material comprises metal nanowires and a stretchable copolymer that has an N-C=O structure and is complexed to the metal nanowires. This conductive material has excellent stretchability and is not susceptible to increase in the electrical resistivity when stretched. This method for producing a conductive material comprises: a copolymer production step wherein a stretchable copolymer is produced by polymerizing a plurality of monomers including a growth direction control monomer for controlling the growth direction of the metal nanowires, said growth direction control monomer having an N-C=O structure; a reaction step wherein a metal compound is reacted in a solvent that contains the copolymer, thereby causing the metal nanowires to grow in the longitudinal direction; and a take-out step wherein the product is taken out of the solution after the reaction.
