Abstract:
Provided are: a conductive paste which is capable of providing a sufficient bonding strength between a ceramic substrate and a conductor pattern even if the firing temperature is 800°C or more; a ceramic electronic component; and a method for producing a ceramic electronic component.
This conductive paste for forming internal electrodes (12, 13) of a multilayer ceramic capacitor (1) contains a Cu-Mn alloy powder, an alkaline earth metal compound powder and an organic vehicle. The Mn content in the Cu-Mn alloy powder is 0.1-5.0% by volume, and the relation between the volume (VRO) of the alkaline earth metal compound powder and the volume (Valloy) of the Cu-Mn alloy powder satisfies 1.0 ≤ 100 × VRO/(VRO + Valloy) ≤ 20. The alkaline earth metal compound is composed of at least one compound that is selected from among barium carbonate, calcium carbonate and magnesium carbonate.
