Abstract:
A polyaniline dopant capable of providing a conductive polyaniline having excellent workability in polyaniline, which realizes low environmental load. As the polyaniline dopant, use is made of a phenol derivative of lignin having a bisarylpropane unit resulting from bonding of a carbon atom of ortho-position and/or para-position relative to phenolic hydroxyl of a phenol compound to a carbon atom of C1-position of arylpropane unit of lignin. This phenol derivative of lignin is derived from recyclable resources, so that a polyaniline dopant of low environmental load can be provided.
