Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a conductor connection device and a conductor connection method which can easily cope with joining various kinds of conductors. [Solution] This conductor connection device 1 which joins a plurality of exposed conductor parts 120 by subjecting said exposed conductor parts to ultrasonic welding is provided with: a horn 13 which ultrasonically vibrates, and which is provided with a horn-side lower surface 13a which compresses the exposed conductor parts 120; a pair of restriction parts 21 which are in contact with the horn-side lower surface 13a, and which are formed so as to be capable of relative movement along the horn-side lower surface 13a; and an anvil 30 which moves relatively in directions approaching and heading away from the horn-side lower surface 13a. The horn 13 and the restriction parts 21 are lowered towards the anvil 30 such that an anvil upper part 31 which forms the anvil 30 is sandwiched by the pair of restriction parts 21 which face each other, and the pair of restriction parts 21 are moved towards the exposed conductor parts 120.
