Abstract:
The present invention relates to a conductor for a gas insulated switch and a method for manufacturing the same. An insulation layer (16) comprising ethylene tetrafluoroethylene as a main material is formed on the surface of a conductor body (12) accounting for the skeleton of a conductor (10). The conductor body (12) is further provided with a contact conductive portion (14) at one side thereof and the contact conductive portion is plated with a low contact resistance material. According to the present invention configured as above, the conductor (10) has an improved dielectric strength on the surface thereof, thereby showing the advantages of miniaturizing the entire gas insulated switch and simplifying a plating process for the contact conductive portion (14).
