Abstract:
A metal conduit for molten glass capable of withstanding the extension/retraction and vibration thereof and a degassing device with reduced pressure, the metal conduit wherein at least one projected part (20) having a radial height of 4 mm or higher and continued in the circumferential direction is provided in the axial direction to absorb the extension/retraction of the metal conduit (10) by heat without changing the overall length thereof and suppress the vibration thereof also when the molten glass (121) is conveyed through the metal conduit (10); the degassing device (30) wherein the metal conduit (10) is used as the upstream side conveying tube (130A), a rising tube (122U), a degassing tank (120) with reduced pressure, a lowering tube (122L), and a downstream side conveying tube (130B) of the degassing device (30) to withstand the extension/retraction and vibration thereof by the heat generated when the molten glass (121) is conveyed.
