Abstract:
The present invention relates to a cone valve and a manufacturing method thereof. In the cone valve, a cone is installed in a body part having a hollow portion formed therein through which fluid flows, the body part includes left and right body parts, the cone is installed between the left and right body parts, and left and right valve inclination surfaces, which are inclined to correspond to an inclined surface of the cone, are formed at the tip ends of the left and right body parts, respectively, so that the cone reciprocates in a forward and backward direction to open or close a flow channel. The cone is fixedly coupled to a cylindrical back-and-forth moving body installed on the outer peripheral surface of the body part and having a thread part formed on the outer peripheral surface thereof, the cylindrical back-and-forth moving body is coupled to an external worm gear to be movable forward and backward, and the worm gear is coupled to a worm connected to a motor or a handle. Therefore, the rotating force of the motor or the handle sequentially rotates the worm and the worm gear, and then moves the back-and-forth moving body and the cone fixedly coupled thereto forward and backward.
