Abstract:
The objective of the invention is to transmit audio data to a terminal apparatus of transmission destination with reliability by use of a package mode in which the transmission of the audio data is performed in response to every predetermined amount unit of input. One (110a) of a plurality of teleconference terminals (110), which is a transmission source of conference data, uses a camera (212a) and a microphone (214a) to receive conference data inputs, then selects, on the basis of communication conditions, either a real time mode in which the transmission of the audio data in the conference data is to be sequentially performed or the package mode in which the transmission of the audio data in the conference data is to be performed in response to every predetermined amount unit of input, and then transmits the audio data by use of a mode selected by a communication interface (207a). A teleconference terminal (110b), which is a reception destination of the conference data, stores the audio data, which have been transmitted by an audio interface (205), for the respective modes, and uses a speaker (213b) to output the audio data in such a manner that a higher priority is given to the audio data transmitted in the real time mode for the audio data stored in the respective modes.
