Abstract:
The embodiments of the present invention provide a configuration deletion method and system, a terminal device and a serving base station. The method comprises: a serving base station sending AUM configuration information to a terminal device, the terminal device saving the AUM configuration information which is configured by a first candidate cell for the terminal device; the serving base station sending to the terminal device instruction information for deleting the AUM configuration; and the terminal device deleting, according to the instruction information for deleting the AUM configuration, the AUM configuration information which is configured by the first candidate cell for the terminal device. In the embodiments of the present invention, as the terminal device only needs to switch once to access a target cell, the embodiments of the present invention reduces the length of time taken by the terminal device to access the target cell compared to the prior art.
