Abstract:
A configuration management method of customer premises equipment and device
thereof are disclosed. The method includes that: the first, the data model information
of Customer Premises Equipment CPE is obtained (1); the data model of CPE, and
the corresponding relation between data model of said CPE and the CPE are extracted
from the foregoing obtained information (2); the data model of specific CPE is
searched according to the corresponding relation between data model of said
CPE and the CPE (3), and the configuration and management operation is performed
according to said searched data model of the CPE (4). The present invention can
find out the data model of the CPE according to the identification information
of the CPE by associating the data model of the CPE to the identification information
of the CPE in advance, then the configuration management operation for the specific
CPE is performed according to the data model of the CPE.
