Abstract:
A confocal microscope comprising light sources (1, 13), a rotating disk (4) having a light transmitting unit and a light shielding unit formed in specified patterns, a first illuminating optical system (2, 3) for guiding light from a light source to the rotating disk (4), an object lens (6) for applying light from the rotating disk (4) onto a sample (7), and a second illuminating optical system for applying light onto the sample (7) via an optical path different from that of the first illuminating optical system (2, 3).
