Abstract:
The congestion information processing method according to the present disclosure comprises: a step (S11) of accepting input of search conditions; a step (S12) of, on the basis of the search conditions, acquiring route information including a route that includes multiple route segments that a user uses to move from a starting point to a destination, and use time for each of the multiple route segments; a step (S13) of acquiring a partial congestion degree indicating the degree of congestion of each of the multiple route segments within the use time; and a step of calculating an overall congestion degree indicating the overall congestion degree of the route in the use time, using a value based on the partial congestion degree.
