Abstract:
Disclosed is a congestion prediction device provided with: a speed detection means for detecting the speed of the actual vehicle and then outputting the detection result; an inter-vehicle distance detection means for detecting the inter-vehicle distance between the actual vehicle and another vehicle and then outputting the detection result; a correlation calculation means for calculating a correlation based on the speed detection result and the inter-vehicle distance detection result and then outputting the calculation result; and a display means for displaying the correlation calculation result or information relating to the correlation calculation result.
