Abstract:
A conjugate curve-based bevel gear meshing pair having multiple contact points comprises a concave gear and a convex gear meshing with each other via contacting at multiple points. A meshing curved surface of the concave gear and the convex gear is a tubular curved surface, and a contact curve formed by meshing points on a curved tooth surface of the concave gear and a contact curve formed by meshing points on the convex gear are conjugate curves. The meshing pair is meshed by contacting a tooth surface of the concave gear with a tooth surface of the convex gear at multiple points at the same time, and contact trajectories of contact points in respective tooth surfaces are all smooth spatial curves.
