Abstract:
[Problem] To provide: a catalyst which is capable of inhibiting the formation of a coke-like substance and improving long-term reaction stability in a reaction which produces, by way of catalytic oxidative dehydrogenation, a conjugated diolefin from a mixed gas including molecular oxygen and a monoolefin having four or more carbon atoms; and a production method for said catalyst. [Solution] A composite metal oxide catalyst, which is for producing, by way of a gas-phase catalytic oxidative dehydrogenation reaction, a conjugated diolefin from a mixed gas including molecular oxygen and a monoolefin having 4 or more carbon atoms, has a solid acid content of 35-172 µmol/g.
