Abstract:
Provided are a connected state control method, device and system for a terminal, to at least solve the problem in the art that after introducing a lightly connected state or an inactively connected state, the entire network cannot perform actively necessary control over a terminal being in a connected state for a long time without user-plane data transmission. The method comprises: a first network device receiving indication information from a second network device, wherein the indication information is used for indicating that user-plane data transmission of a terminal in a connected state has already finished; and the first network device initiating, according to the indication information, a connection release flow, wherein the connection release flow is used for turning the terminal from a connected state to an idle state.
