Abstract:
A connecting device for interface multiplexing in a set top box, the connecting device comprising: a composite video broadcast signal (CVBS) signal contact, a left channel signal contact, a right channel signal contact, and a signal grounding contact. The CVBS signal contact, the left channel signal contact, the right channel signal contact, and the signal grounding contact of the connecting device are sequentially connected to a CVBS signal contact, a left channel signal contact, a right channel signal contact, and a signal grounding contact of an analog audio and video (AV) interface. The CVBS signal contact and the signal grounding contact of the connecting device are sequentially connected to a Sony/Philips digital interconnect format (S/PDIF) signal contact and a signal grounding contact of a digital audio S/PDIF interface, and a voltage level at a position where the left channel signal contact and the right channel signal contact of the connecting device are connected to the S/PDIF interface is different from a voltage level at a position where the left channel signal contact and the right channel signal contact of the connecting device are connected to the AV interface.
