Abstract:
The present invention relates to a connecting piece of pipings which connects with plastic coated steel pipes hermetically, and connecting method thereof. The connecting piece involves a connecting body and a variable diameter nut. The connecting body is perforative and it involves a connecting head and thread on the surface of the connecting body that are formed integrally. The connecting head is tapered and perforative. Said variable diameter nut is screwed onto the said thread. The connecting body and said variable diameter nut are made of metal and preferred stainless steel. The connecting method includes: sleeves first the variable diameter nut to a port of the plastic coated steel pipe, then flares the port, and then screws the internal thread of the variable diameter onto the thread of the connecting body to provide hermetical coupling. The connecting piece and connecting method of the present invention can overcome the limitation of the related art.
