Abstract:
A connection base (104) of a control circuit board (100) of a washing machine is provided, in which the control circuit board (100) includes a group of conductive contacts (102), and the connection base (104) includes a connection base body (200) mounted on the control circuit board (100) and covering the conductive contacts (102); a sealing element (300) is disposed between the connection base body (200) and the control circuit board (100), and the sealing element (300) separates the conductive contacts (102) from an outside space of the connection base body (200) hermetically, so that the conductive contacts (102) are sealed in the connection base body (200), and water drops or water vapor are inhibited from enter therein, thereby avoiding the short circuit caused by the action of the water.

CLAIMS

1. A connection base (104) of a control circuit board (100) of a washing machine, wherein a control circuit board (100) comprises a group of conductive contacts (102), and a connection base (104) comprises a connection base body (200) mounted on the control circuit board (100) and covering the conductive contacts (102), characterized in that a sealing element (300) is disposed between the connection base body (200) and the control circuit board (100), and the sealing element (300) separates the conductive contacts (102) from an outside space of the connection base body (200) hermetically.

The connection base according to claim 1 , characterized in that the conductive contacts (102) are located at an edge of the control circuit board (100), the connection base body (200) comprises a connection groove (202) in plugging cooperation with the edge of the control circuit board (100), a part of the control circuit board (100) disposed with the conductive contacts (102) is plugged in the connection groove (202), a lip (204) is located at each side of the connection groove (202) respectively, and the sealing element (300) is disposed around at least one lip (204) of the connection groove (202).

3. The connection base according to claim 2, characterized in that a mounting groove (206) of the sealing element is disposed on the lip (204). 4. The connection base according to claim 2, characterized in that the sealing element (300) is an elastic sealing ring, and at least one locking element (208) for preventing the sealing ring from sliding out of the lip is disposed on the lip (204).

5. The connection base according to claim 4, characterized in that the locking element (208) is a protruding block.

CONNECTION BASE OF CONTROL CIRCUIT BOARD OF

WASHING MACHINE

The invention relates to a connection base of a control circuit board of a washing machine, in which the control circuit board includes a group of conductive contacts, the connection base is mounted on the control circuit board and covers the conductive contacts, and more particularly to waterproof design of a connection base of a control circuit board of a washing machine for conductive contacts.

A current washing machine is generally provided with an electronic control circuit board. Various electric elements in the washing machine are connected with the control circuit board through related leads and connectors, particularly crimp connectors. Generally, a common connection manner is that: a connection base is configured at a connecting finger end of the control circuit board, a positive connector is mounted on a lead connected with an electric element through a related lead, and the positive connector is plugged in the connection base and engaged with the connecting finger on the control circuit board, thereby implementing an electric connection.

Disadvantages of such connection manner lie in that: in order to ensure contact elements work after being powered on, the connecting finger must be electrically exposed, and an assembly clearance inevitably exists between the connection base covering the connecting finger and the control circuit board. The work environment of the washing machine is usually moist, and water may permeate or be condensed on the connecting finger, thereby easily resulting in a short circuit of the connecting finger and further impairing proper function of the control circuit board.

A technical problem to be solved in the invention is to implement sealing and waterproofing a connection base of a control circuit board of a washing machine for a conductive connection.

In order to solve the foregoing technical problem, in a technical solution according to the invention, a connection base of a control circuit board of a washing machine is provided, wherein the control circuit board includes a group of conductive contacts, and the connection base includes a connection base body mounted on the control circuit board and covering the conductive contacts; wherein further a sealing element is disposed between the connection base body and the control circuit board, and the sealing element separates the conductive contacts from an outside space of the connection base body hermetically.

Beneficial effects achieved by the foregoing technical solution include that: the sealing element is in cooperation with the connection base body and the control circuit board, so that the conductive contacts are sealed in the connection base body, and water drops or water vapor are inhibited to enter therein, thereby avoiding the short circuit caused by the action of the water.

In accordance with a preferred embodiment of the invention, the conductive contacts are located at an edge of the control circuit board, the connection base body includes a connection groove in plugging cooperation with the edge of the control circuit board, a part of the control circuit board disposed with the conductive contacts is plugged in the connection groove, a lip is located at each side of the connection groove respectively, and the sealing element is disposed around at least one lip of the connection groove. The sealing element thereby fills in a clearance left due to the plugging cooperation between the control circuit board and the connection base body, so as to achieve a good waterproofing effect; further, the production technique is implemented conveniently, and the cost is increased to a limited extent only, if at all.

Preferably, a mounting groove of the sealing element is disposed on the lip. The mounting groove is used for conveniently mounting and positioning the sealing element.

Preferably, the sealing element is an elastic sealing ring, and at least one locking element for preventing the sealing ring from sliding out of the lip is disposed on the lip. Such improved solution is used for conveniently mounting the sealing ring, and meanwhile it is uneasy for the mounted sealing ring to slip out, so as to be more reliable. Preferably, the locking element is a protruding block. The protruding block is realized easily in machining.

The washing machine according to the invention refers to a laundry processing device in a generalized range, which includes a laundry washing device, a drying device, and a device having washing and drying functions simultaneously. Various specific embodiments described in the foregoing and shown in the attached drawing are only used for illustrating the invention, and are not the entirety of the invention. Within the scope of the basic technical thought of the invention, any types of modifications for the invention made by persons ordinarily skilled in the art fall within the scope of the invention.

Preferred embodiments of the invention are now described in detail, with reference to the Figures of the attached drawing. In the drawing,

FIG. 1 is an assembly view of a control circuit board of a washing machine and a connection base;

FIG. 2 is a schematic structural view of the connection base separated from the control circuit board of the washing machine; and FIG. 3 is a structural view of a connection base body.

As shown in FIGs. 1 and 2, a group of conductive contacts 102, such as connecting fingers 102, are disposed at an edge part of a control circuit board 100 of a washing machine. A connection base 104 is mounted on the control circuit board 100 and covers the conductive contacts 102. The connection base 104 includes a connection base body 200. A connection groove 202 in plugging cooperation with the edge of the control circuit board 100 is disposed on the connection base body 200, and a lip 204 is located at each side of the connection groove 202 respectively. After the connection base body 200 is mounted on the control circuit board 100, a part on the control circuit board 100 disposed with the conductive contacts 102 is plugged in the connection groove 202, as shown in FIG. 2.

As shown in FIGs. 1 and 3, a mounting groove 206 is disposed on the lip 204 corresponding to the conductive contacts 102 on the connection base body 200, and an elastic sealing ring 300 is sleeved over the lip 204, and is located in the mounting groove 206. After the mounting, a part of the elastic sealing ring 300 is located between the connection base body 200 and the control circuit board 100, and seals a clearance between them. Furthermore, the elastic sealing ring 300 is located outside the conductive contacts 102, and separates the conductive contacts 102 from an outside space of the connection base body 200 hermetically, so that the conductive contacts 102 are enclosed in the connection groove 202, thereby preventing water from entering therein to cause the short circuit. A protruding block 208 is further disposed on the lip 204 of the connection base body 200, so as to fix the elastic sealing ring 300, and prevent the elastic sealing ring 300 slipping off from the lip 204 of the connection base body 200.

In the foregoing specific embodiment, the elastic sealing ring 300 is mounted only at one side of the mounting groove 202 because in this specific embodiment, only one side of the control circuit board 100 is disposed with the conductive contacts 102. In other specific embodiments, if both sides of the control panel are disposed with the conductive contacts, elastic sealing rings may be mounted at both lips of the mounting groove.
