Abstract:
Provided is a connection device for DC distribution that, with a simple structure, reliably suppresses arc discharge without using a special electrically conductive material or a high resistance resistor for a socket contact or a plug contact. In a process that ends when a second power supply plug contact at which the highest DC voltage Vk is generated and a second power supply socket contact come into contact, all dummy plug contacts connected to the second power supply plug contact are made to contact in sequence a socket contact of a lower potential than the second power supply plug contact. Therefore, the potential difference when the second power supply plug contact approaches the second power supply socket contact is less than the DC voltage Vk, and the incidence of arc discharge during that time is minimized.
