Abstract:
A connection device, according to one embodiment of the present invention, is a connection device convertible between a connected state, in which a first object and a second object are connected, and a separated state, in which the first object and the second object are not connected. The connection device comprises: a holding module arranged on the first object or second object side, and formed to have a holding surface such that a magnetic flow passing through the holding surface can be controlled; a locking module rotatably fixed to the second object; a release means for providing a force such that the locking module moves far away from the holding module; and a control device connected with the holding module so as to control the magnetic flow passing through the holding surface of the holding module. The holding module comprises: at least one permanent magnet; a plurality of pole pieces formed from magnetic material so as to form a path for the magnetic flow generated by the at least one permanent magnet; and at least one coil arranged such that the path of the magnetic flow formed by the plurality of pole pieces can pass therethrough. The plurality of pole pieces and the permanent magnet are arranged so as to form: a closed path for minimizing the intensity of the magnetic flow passing through the holding surface by allowing the magnetic flow to circulate inside the holding module; and an opened path for maximizing the intensity of the magnetic flow passing through the holding surface by preventing the formation of the magnetic flow of the closed path.
