Abstract:
This connection device comprises: a cable (10) having wires (11A,11B) and two covering parts (12A,12B) that cover the wires and that are separated from each other; connection terminals (30A,30B) capable of connecting to a terminal of an external connector; connection parts (31A,31B); a flat plate-shaped wiring board (40); and a housing. The connection parts (31A,31B) electrically connect the connection terminals (30A,30B) with the wires (11A,11B) which are exposed between the two covering parts (12A,12B) that are separated from each other. The connection terminals (30A,30B) and the connection parts (31A,31B) are disposed on the wiring board (40). The wiring board (40) is positioned between the two covering parts (12A,12B). The external connector can be inserted into and removed from the housing, and the housing accommodates the wiring board (40). At least a portion of the wiring board (40) is substantially in contact with or is included in a space that connects the adjacent ends of the two covering parts (12A,12B) to each other.
