Abstract:
A connection establishment assistance system is equipped with: a business classification unit 15, which classifies businesses into business types from the perspective of a specific user, that is, a first type of business with respect to which there is an individual connection, a second type of business with respect to which there is a business connection, and a third type of business with respect to which there is neither an individual nor a business connection; a type-specific connection request unit 17, which makes connection requests by methods that differ according to the classified business types; and a connection updating unit 14, which, when an individual who has received the connection request performs an acceptance operation, additionally stores in a connection information storage unit 22 connection information indicating the new connection relationship between the specific user and the individual who has accepted. In accordance with the method of connecting between an individual in one business and an individual in another business, new connection requests can be made by methods that differ according to the three types, and new connections can be established by means of the acceptance of the individual who has received the request.
