Abstract:
A connection mechanism for a tire slip prevention device, the mechanism being adapted to connect connection ends of a tire slip prevention body together in the circumferential direction of the tire, wherein the connection is not disconnected even if a wire becomes loose, the thickness of the mechanism is reduced as much as possible so that the mechanism is more appropriately adaptable to a vehicle, and the mechanism facilitates attachment and detachment of the connection ends from each other. A configuration comprising: an insertion end which has a connection head connected to one end of a connection end and also has a shaft section provided at a position adjacent to the connection head and having a diameter less than the diameter of the connection head; and a connection member which is connected to the other end of the connection end, the connection member being provided with an attaching/detaching means for attaching and detaching the connection member from the insertion end. In the tip surface of the connection member, there are formed an insertion hole which has a diameter allowing the connection head to be inserted into the insertion hole, and a cutout section which is formed on one side of the insertion hole and has a width through which it is difficult to insert the connection head but is possible to insert the shaft section. The attaching/detaching means has a lock mechanism capable of maintaining a state in which the insertion end has moved into the cutout section, and the attaching/detaching means also has a lock release mechanism for allowing a locked state provided by the lock mechanism to be manually released.
