Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a connection member that has a simple structure and does not project toward an upper side from a gap between a first attached part and a second attached part when in a bent state. [Solution] A connection member (1) that spans from a seat back (6) and a luggage compartment floor (4), and extends and contracts via movement of at least one of the seat back (6) and the luggage compartment floor (4), said connection member (1) having a thin plate-shaped or sheet-shaped body section (7), and a plurality of long protruding parts (10, 12) provided in parallel on the body section (7). The long protruding parts (10, 12) are provided extending in a direction orthogonal to the extending-contracting direction of the connection member (1). A first curved section (13) and a second curved section (14) at which the plurality of long protruding parts (10, 12) are provided are curved such that the plurality of long protruding parts (10, 12) are oriented inward as the seat back (6) and luggage compartment floor (4) approach each other, and thereby the connection member (1) can be accommodated at the bottom of the space between the seat back (6) and the luggage compartment floor (4).
