Abstract:
The present invention requires no large-scale construction and makes it unnecessary for workers to work near a connection location of a main pipe and a coupling pipe. The present invention comprises: a first step for preparing a coupling pipe 101 having an end wall 101c, a guide hole 101d penetrating the end wall 101c, and a seal ring 106 provided to the end wall 101c; a second step for forming insertion holes in structures 105, 300 provided on the outer side of a body 100 by using a punching machine; a third step for inserting the coupling pipe 101 in an insertion hole 302; a fourth step for abutting the end wall 101c of the coupling pipe 101 inserted into the insertion hole 302 against the body 100; a fifth step for applying a prescribed water pressure to the coupling pipe 101; a sixth step for forming a hole at the connection location of the body 100 and the coupling pipe 101 by using the punching machine, where the hole centers on the guide hole 101d; and a seventh step for attaching a branch structure to the hole by using a fixture.
