A connection structure for connection between ribbed main pipe and pipe joint, wherein, when a branch pipe is connected to a ribbed main pipe (3), a rectangular saddle part (2a) of an installation pipe joint (2) is saddlingly connected to the side surface holes of the ribbed main pipe (3) through a rubber seal material (1), rib fitted grooves (1a) of the rubber seal material (1) are fitted to ribs (3a) of the ribbed main pipe (3) and water sealing small projected rings (1c) are in contact sealably and elastically with the surface part of the ribbed main pipe (3), and the rubber seal material (1) is pressed uniformly against the ribbed main pipe (3) as the projections (2b) of the saddle part (2a) are fitted to recessed parts (1d) of the rubber seal material (1), whereby the ribbed main pipe (3) and the installation pipe joint (2) are press-connected elastically with each other, and a satisfactory leakage resisting state can be maintained for a long period.
